Astronomy Day Night Time Paddle Saturday, Oct 4, 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Hard Labor Creek State Park – Rutledge, GA Join us on this paddle to view the sunset and night sky as we enjoy various constellations. Civil War Battle of Allatoona Pass Remembered Saturday, Oct 4, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct 5, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Red Top Mountain State Park – Acworth, GA Watch Civil War rifle and cannon demonstrations, visit the tent city, and tour the hillside and railroad cut through the pass. 770-975-0055. Full Moon Kayak Tour Friday, Oct 10, 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct 11, 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Hard Labor Creek State Park – Rutledge, GA Join a guided tour of Lake Rutledge and enjoy a peaceful paddle under a bright moon. Listen for night sounds, enjoy the night sky, and learn about the history of Hard Labor Creek State Park. Register in advance.
