The “All Aboard” Train Exhibit at Tellus Science Museum

All Aboard is the name of the model train exhibit at Tellus Science Museum.

Tellus offers the rare opportunity for adventurers of all ages to touch stuff, learn stuff and see very cool stuff.

This model train exhibit has railroad engines and cars rolling down more than 100 feet of track past scenes of an imaginary seaside village.  Each scene is amazingly detailed and realistic.

The exhibit also shows the basics of model railroading; how to build railroad scenes; and, popular model scales.

Members of the Central Georgia Model Railroad Club in Macon built these sets from scratch for an exhibition at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.  It became so popular that this HO scale model train exhibit has toured several of Georgia’s museums, including Tellus in 2009.

Not a train buff?  There’s so much more to see at Tellus Science Museum.
