

The Bartow History Museum is located in Cartersville. The detailed history of Bartow County is featured, dating back more than 200 years to when the Cherokees inhabited the region. The exhibits include artifacts, photographs, documents, interactive exhibitions that tell the story of settlement, the Cherokee removal, Civil War strife and the lifestyle of Bartow inhabitants throughout the years. The museum presents a variety of workshops, history camps, lectures, and school activities. The museum store is a favorite for visitors.
