The Rose Lawn Museum is in Cartersville, Georgia. This beautifully restored Victorian mansion was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. Once home to the nationally renowned evangelist Samuel Porter Jones — the evangelist instrumental in building Nashville’s Union Gospel Tabernacle — the home and grounds were purchased by Bartow County in 1978.
This fascinating museum displays the writings and memorabilia of Sam Jones, and those of Bartow resident Rebecca Latimer Felton, the first woman to serve in the U.S. Senate.
The museum is home to the Rose Lawn Arts Festival each September.
