Sure, you’ll be impressed with the 220-acres of gardens and the 22 reflecting pools.
The Flower Bridge is exquisite, but after visiting a few hundred times the allure might begin to wear off.
When you bask in the glow of 20 MILLION daffodils at Gibbs Gardens, however, you’ll be happier than Dorothy and Toto running toward Oz through a field of poppies.
The beneficent Gibbs family planted the splendiferous gardens on their 300-acre estate, with a fancy manor house that overlooks the gardens and our North Georgia mountains.

Gibbs Gardens will reopen for its third year on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 9 AM.
The 2014 Gibbs Gardens Daffodil Festival — with 20-million daffodil blossoms in 60 varieties covering 50-plus acres of elaborately manicured hillsides and fields — is the most perfect place for a first date since the demise of drive-in movies.
If daffodils aren’t your cup of wildflowers, take a stroll through the Japanese Gardens — the largest in the nation. (Sorry, no fishing allowed.)
Save a bit of time to gawk at America’s largest array of water lilies in a natural environment — all 140 varieties — at Gibbs Gardens.
Don’t worry. They have a tram to help you see a lifetime’s worth of glorious fragrant flowers in just a few visits. There’s a gift shop and conveniently located rest rooms too.
