Hello everyone. I just posted this as a response to a thread about low lake levels but thought it was something that everyone could use and should know about.
I am a lake homewoner on Lake Hartwell and we experience the same issues with constantly changing lake levels. I decided to combat the "always having to check lake levels" problem by putting together a website called LakeLevelAlert.com at
http://lakelevelalert.com .
The site monitors lake levels on 44 lakes in the U.S including Allatoona and sends you emails when the water for your lake rises above or falls below levels that you specify. You can set lake level alerts that will tell you when skiing is safe and when it is not. You can set alerts to tell you when to move your dock in or out. There are a million different uses. It is FREE for anyone to use so please go check it out at
http://lakelevelalert.com and sign up. Please tell your friends on Allatoona and other lakes as well.
