The 2nd Annual Love the Lake Festival will be held at Cauble Park on Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6.  The hours are 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.  There will be close to 100 arts and crafts booths set up as well as food vendors.  There will be live entertainment throughout both days and an inflatables zone for the kids.  Shuttles stops will be set up in the downtown area (look for signs).
 
Don’t miss Wildlife Wendy’s Tropical Bird Show on Saturday at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m.  She will also be there on Sunday at 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m.  The Atlanta Water Ski Club will also be doing demonstrations all day Saturday and Sunday.
 
The Festival will kick off with the Love the Lake Festival Parade on Saturday, September 5.  The parade will begin at 9:00 a.m.   The parade will begin at Acworth First Baptist Church and head south on Main Street.  The parade will end at the corner of Cowan and Main Streets.  Please plan on being in your seats by 8:30 a.m. as the streets will have limited accessibility after 8:30 a.m.
