The ACA is building an Allatoona Community Area History Profile segment for the ACA/Community website (www.allatoonacommunity.org) We are collecting historical tid-bits for our area and will begin to publish the information in 2010.

(Coffee will be provided by ACA. You will need to purchase your own food if you choose to eat.)

The Allatoona Community is in a region rich in history, however, the specific points of interest for our community are not easily found in a compact format. At the last Allatoona Community meeting (September 24, 2009) there was enthusiastic discussion among attending residents about history highlights and our desire to gather interesting information and make it available to area residents. Gary Ross, appointed ACA Historian and accompanying ACA Board members will coordinate the gathering.
