AWFUL!!!!!  This past week the bite has been AWFUL.

We have been very honest with our clients about the bite.  Some of our clients elected to move their trips to later dates, while others just wanted to get out on the water.  The bite has gotten so bad the last few days that I decided to shut Firstbite down for a few days until the bite rebounds to acceptable numbers.

This time of year we don’t expect to catch 30-50 fish a day.  But knowing you are only going to catch five fish on a six-hour trip is nothing I am willing to sell to my clients.

We’re looking forward to October, a great hybrid month on Allatoona.  Usually when the water temperature hits 75 degrees, Lake Allatoona catches fire for hybrids.
