There will be a wreath laying ceremony at the Marietta Confederate Cemetery on Saturday, December 14, 2013, at noon, in conjunction with Wreaths Across America.
The Old Guard of the Gate City Guard, the Marietta Confederate Cemetery Foundation and the City of Marietta invite you to pay your respects and help place wreaths honoring America’s service members.
Help spread the message about the importance of remembering our fallen heroes, honoring those who serve and teaching our children about the sacrifices made by veterans and their families to preserve our freedoms. You can also purchase wreaths for just $15 each.
Please help honor the military service members interred at the cemetery.
The program, featuring Dr. Mike Shaffer, is at Brown Park located at 358 West Atlanta St. Volunteers will place wreaths at the graves following the program.
