Fall is the prettiest time of the year and the weather is right for leisurely spending time in the sun without being fried to a crisp.
We think you’ll love the 9th Annual Taste of Acworth in the Historic District on Main Street, this Saturday, October 12th from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
The Acworth Business Association and the City of Acworth sponsor this popular event to benefit local schools and charities. Approximately 20,000 visitors tasted their way through this collection of delicacies last year.
Taste of Acworth will host 150 booths from local restaurants and businesses demonstrating what they do best. There will be a live entertainment stage providing live music and demonstrations from local talent throughout the day.
The popular fashion show will be returning again this year. Children will have plenty to do with inflatables, quad bungee and challenging games located in the kid zone.
Admission is FREE!
Parking will be available throughout downtown. New this year: shuttles will be running from the new parking lots on School Street, across the railroad tracks from the event. The School Street parking lots are easily accessible from the I-75 Glade Road exit 278.
An array of diverse restaurants will be offering food samples from $1.00 to $4.00 to satisfy every palate, so come hungry, bring the kids and join in the fun!
