R2D2 Comes to Tellus Science Museum on Friday, November 14, 2014

Cartersville’s Tellus Science Museum is bigger than you think, cooler than you think, more interesting than you think, and your friends of all ages will love it more than you think — especially during Family Engineering Night on Friday, November 14, 2014.

BRING THE FAMILY FOR A NIGHT OF ENGINEERING FUN WITH INTERACTIVE ROBOTICS AND A LEGO® BUILD!

Special guest R2D2 invites you to Family Engineering Night at Tellus!

R2D2 will be onsite to meet and greet and have your picture taken with him.  If you let your kids take a selfie with R2D2, they might forget they hate you for not buying them the latest iPhones with unlimited data, at least for a little while.

Kell Robotics will demonstrate a variety of forms of engineering with a bevy of robotic interactives.

Learn about robotic design, construction and operation with a sprinkle of computer science, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering.  Then, take the knowledge you’ve harnessed and engineer your best masterpiece with LEGOS®.

If you’re feeling competitive, enter the LEGO® Creative Build Competition (registration required).
