23rd Annual Marietta StreetFest takes place on Saturday, September 20, 2014

This year’s Marietta StreetFest will be better than ever with more arts & crafts, cool old cars, cool old musicians and brand-new ways for kids of all ages to have fun.

The 23rd annual Marietta StreetFest takes place on Saturday, September 20th from 9 AM until 5 PM around the Historic Marietta Square.

Marietta StreetFest — presented by the Marietta Museum of History — is a one-day event that closes out summer in style.  You and your friends will have a fabulous time strolling through the Square meeting new people, seeing new things and wondering how you’ll ever choose which restaurant you’d prefer for dinner.

For the first time, Marietta StreetFest includes the expanded Kid’s Zone complete with old-time children’s games and activities like hopscotch, bubbles, a scavenger hunt and even modern-day bounce houses.  Most activities like the bounce houses, giant slide, obstacle course, bubbles, cardboard mini City and Cobb County Library booth are FREE, but a couple might set you back a dollar or two.

The City of Marietta and WellStar Kennestone Regional Medical Center will host their 2nd Annual Live Well Marietta event on Saturday too.  You’re invited to learn about a variety of health programs and services like free biometric screenings, “Ask the Expert” booths and healthy cooking demonstrations.

The Marietta Grassroots Music Festival joins Marietta StreetFest again this year with talented local bands and singer/songwriters performing original music.

Visitors get free admission to the Marietta Museum of History during StreetFest.
