Linesides: Decent!!
The bite really slowed down since the last full moon. The fish are moving north and can be caught from the Dam to the S-turns. Flats and points are the keys. The numbers are better north of the dam, from Stamp Creek to the S-turns, but the size is better in the Allatoona Creek arm.
Downlining shad works best for us.
Topwater is Good!! The better bite is in the afternoon. There’s been good topwater action near the dam and mid-lake from Clear to Galts. In September, look for the topwater action to get Hot. The numbers are much lower than a few weeks ago, but if you’re in the right place at the right time, boating 20+ fish is possible in a very short time.
Trolling is fair. The key is to bottom-bump your U-rigs on flats with an 18-20 foot bottom.
Call us and we’ll catch you some fish!
