Sweetgum Trail is a 3-1/2 mile Moderate hike that begins at the Red Top Mountain State Park Visitor Center parking area.  It turns north for 1/2 mile; loops through the lodge area; then, returns to the 1/2-mile section that takes you back to the Visitor Center.

Brochures for the 1/2-mile self-guided interpretive section are available at the Visitor Center.

Yes, you have to do your homework, housework or catch up on projects.  We all do.  Just be sure to add in some time to go outside and play.  Life is short.
