“Energy” — The Tellus Lecture for Friday, January 6th



The Tellus Lecture Series presents: “Energy” on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 7 PM.

Tellus welcomes a local high school graduate who went on to become a scientist.  David Tilley, a research scientist at EPFL in Switzerland delivers a crash-course on solar energy. Tilley is a graduate of Cartersville High School and the University of Georgia.

Learn about photosynthesis and current man-made attempts to mimic the natural design through photovoltaics and water-splitting.

To celebrate, Bartow County and Cartersville High School students get in free with their student ID.  The lecture is free for members and included in regular admission for non-members.
