Lineside: Great!! And the topwater bite is off the charts.
There are monster schools of hybrids and white bass busting topwater all over the lake right now. At times you can see 5 to 6 different schools busting topwater at the same time.
These fish are feeding on very small shad. Our best bite this week has been on white Rooster Tails, Jr Flukes and Zara Spook Jr’s.
Mid-day you can catch these fish pulling umbrella rigs and fishing live bait on down-lines off of any main lake points and humps from Iron Hill to Kellogg Creek.
The key to loading the boat is fresh bait. Change your bait often and be sure to take plenty with you.
Fishing just doesn’t get much better than it is right now. Grab the kids and hit the lake with First Bite Guide Service!
