Join the Acworth Parks and Recreation Department at Allatoona High School on October 9, 2009 for a movie on the football fields.
 
Come out and enjoy Journey To The Center Of The Earth in 3D!!!  In this movie a scientist whose radical theories have completely tarnished his reputation goes backpacking across Iceland and finds a cave that leads him deep down into the bowels of the planet. He follows it trying to find out what has happened to his missing brother. He discovers a fantastic and dangerous lost world in the center of the earth filled with bizarre landscapes and terrifying creatures.
 
Inflatables will be set up for the kids to enjoy before the movie.  The movie will start at dusk.  The parking lot will open up at 6:00 p.m.  Admission to the movie is free; there will be a fee for the inflatables.  The concession stand will be open during the evening.  3D glasses will be giving to the first 500 people in attendance.
