Cartersville’s Anheuser-Busch brewery is one of three nationwide that will begin producing the new A-B brand, Bud Light Golden Wheat.
This brew is a sweeter version of Bud Light and is set to launch on October 5th. Anheuser-Busch will spend about $30 million to market the new product and is hoping to compete with sweeter beers produced by craft brewers.
This particular style of beer uses unfiltered wheat to achieve hints of citrus and a light hop finish.
I’ll be looking forward to giving it a try this fall.
