Lake Allatoona Fishing Report: Line-Side Fishing Picks Up
Line-side fishing has pick up a little compare to last week. The rain we had this week has really cool the water temperature and has the fish active again. The live bait bite is starting to pick up and is almost as good as the trolling bite.
The fish are easy to find on your Lowrance but getting them to bite is another story. Just keep putting the bait right on there nose and wait. Mid lake still seems to be holding most of the fish. But don’t over look the pass. I have marked a lot of fish in there this week. They just don’t want bite.
Trolling is the best all round bite going right now. Mack Farr u-rigs seem to be the ticket for the trollers right now. The Top Water bite has has also pick up this week. So keep a Jr. Spook ready just in case they pop up. The south end of the lake has been best for top water action.
