A Red Cross Blood Drive is scheduled for Friday, February 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Acworth Beach House located in Cauble Park. (The Acworth Beach House is located at 2293 Beach Street Acworth, GA 30101.)  This community service is sponsored by the Acworth Parks and Recreation Department.

The Red Cross is the nation’s largest blood provider, and supplies more than 120 hospitals and heath care facilities throughout the state of Georgia. Most healthy people who are at least 17 years old and weigh 110 pounds or more are eligible to donate every 56 days. All current eligible and new donors are strongly urged to schedule an appointment to donate blood, although walk-ins are welcome.

Remember one donor could potentially save up to three lives!
