The line-sides: Fair!!

With all the rain and wind we had this week, our time on the water was limited.  But the time we did spend on the water was successful.

I spent most of my time fishing mid-lake.  The best bite going right now is down-lining small trout out over the river channel – that’s how we caught 95% of our fish.

Bartow Carver is probably the best bite going right now.  The S-Turns were also producing fish.  But with all of this rain we have had, I’ll bet the north end will be trashed out by the weekend.

Trolling has been hit and miss, but should be getting better as the water clears and this full moon phase passes.

There’s still time to get First Bite Gift Certificates for the man “who has everything.”
