Line-side Slow!  I think we have about two more weeks before the bite picks up.

The shad kill is starting to show signs of slowing.  This was a big shad kill and was one of the biggest we have seen on Lake Allatoona in many years.  This has made fishing tough for the last few weeks but great fishing is right around the corner.  I look for the bite to return by the first or second week of March and I expect it to be off the charts by the first of April.

Get your honey-do list’s done now because great Lake Allatoona fishing is almost upon us.

If you just have to get out of the house and wet a line, your best bet may be big shad or trout fished behind planer boards and on free lines.  You won’t wear them out, but there is the possibility of catching a monster right now.

The bite has been so slow on #lakeallatoona, that I will be moving all of my Lake Allatoona trips to Carters Lake until Lake Allatoona starts showing some signs of life.

Give me a call at 770 827-6282 and let’s go catch the fish of your dreams!
