Native son and North Cobb High School grad Sean O’Pry, recently named World’s Most Successful Male Model of 2009 by Forbes magazine, returned home to receive the key to the city.

Sean received a proclamation from Mayor Mark Mathews and the Council, honoring his achievements and thanking him for remembering his southern roots and sharing his love of Kennesaw in interviews. The brief ceremony, which took place during the 8/17 Council meeting, was capped by the award of the key to the city.

In his remarks following the presentation, Sean told the audience that he has traveled extensively internationally for his modeling assignments, but his heart still belongs to his hometown. His father, sister and grandfather were in attendance for the ceremony.
