Will All These Proposed Reservoirs Include New Lake Property Opportunities?

The old real estate adage “they’re not making any more of it” may or may not be true regarding lakefront property in Georgia these days.

It remains to be seen if any new fresh water shoreline will actually be in Georgia’s future, but all the recent talk of building more reservoirs has me wondering when and if they are built, will they follow a development model as at Lakes Allatoona and Lanier or follow a more naturalistic track such as at Carters Lake?

If there could be a green model for mixed use development created in parallel with the needs of Georgia’s water supply we might just be in a good position to answer our water needs and kick-start the housing industry in the state at the same time!
