Fall Fun in Acworth
Acworth has a couple of fun activities planned for Saturday afternoon, October 26, 2013, for you and your friends.
How does a family-friendly FREE Haunted Hayride sound?
For a spooky good time, visit the Halloween Carnival at Logan Farm Park on the multi-purpose field next to the playground from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. For only $3.00, kids will get ten tickets to use for games, candy, prizes or to jump on the inflatables
They’ll also have a costume contest for several different age groups. You might be man enough to win … but are you ghoul enough?
Costume Contest Schedule
- 4:30 p.m. — 3 and Under Boys
- 4:45 p.m. — 3 and Under Girls
- 5:00 p.m. — 4 & 5 Boys
- 5:15 p.m. — 4 & 5 Girls
- 5:30 p.m. — Best Family Costumes (2 or more people)
- 5:45 p.m. — 6 – 8 year olds
- 6:00 p.m. — 9 – 12 year olds
Parking is available at Logan Farm Park, Roberts School and at the corner of Cherokee Street and Northside Drive.
Halloween Downtown Acworth Cruise Night begins at 4:00 p.m. and cruises along until 9:00 p.m. on Main Street in Downtown Acworth.
The Lake City Cruisers partner with Acworth to hold these Classic Car Cruises. The event is free to the public, with a $2 entry fee requested from all vehicles in the show.
All proceeds go to the Horizon Field, an all-inclusive special needs sports facility in Acworth.
Bring the kids out to trick or treat at the show and enter the costume contest!
