May-retta Daze

For the first time in almost forever, the weather this weekend is going to be perfect for the 39th Annual May-retta Daze Arts and Crafts Festival held in Glover Park in the Historic Marietta Square on May 2-3, 2015.

The May-retta Parks and Recreation Department will not allow any rain on their efforts this year.

May-retta Daze is an annual arts and crafts festival held the first weekend in May that draws artists and craftspeople from around Georgia and the Southeast.

Attention Men:  Does your mind go numb when you hear the words “arts and crafts”?  Fear not!  The festival also includes children’s activities and free entertainment on the stage.

More than 100 local and area artists and craftspeople will display and sell their paintings, pottery, jewelry, woodwork, glass, floral designs and much more at the annual festival.

Once again there are rumors that daft artists might be willing to trade their handmade works of art for common money!  Get there early, before they come to their senses.

The May-retta Daze Arts and Crafts Festival runs from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday.

There’s free admission to the festival are free parking at the Cobb County parking garage.
