Family Camp at Red Top Mtn State Park
This weekend will be the best part of Summer 2013 for the folks headed to Family Camp at Red Top Mountain State Park.
Park Naturalist Ranger Marcus Toft says: “Part of the reason we’re doing Family Camp is because people often tell us they get tired of the same old camping routine, which usually involves a lot of hiking, swimming, and sitting around the campfire.”
This year, Ranger Marcus has plans for many new activities. “Family Camp is an opportunity not only to get more out of your next camping trip, but also to introduce campers to activities that might be new to them and that they’ll be able to enjoy whenever they go camping.”
Family Camp is open to those camping at the park and to those who sign up and enjoy the fun.
